Laughing in the Face of Change©

With National Humorist, Karyn
Ruth White
The fear of change,
or more simply put, the fear of the unknown can paralyze an
organization and it's people. Whether it's a new computer
system, a change in corporate culture or a change in job description,
each personality type reacts to change differently.
This program takes a humorous look at how personality
type affects "change-ability." For example, the
"Questioner" may see change as a threat and need
detailed information before accepting it. "The Visionary"
may be ready to |

is your attitude." |

leap into change unconcerned with the details, while "The
Challenger" may enthusiastically defend the status quo.
We each have our own unique way of dealing with uncertainty
and better understanding our own style will help us move more
effectively through the change process.
In this high-spirited program, National Humorist,
Karyn Ruth White will guide us in a discussion around the
personality of change. Using humor to gently show us ourselves
(and our co-workers) will help us gain some insights around
how we will choose to deal with the inevitability of change
as individuals and as an organization. Laughing In the Face
of Change has been well received during times of peak change
by organizations such as Xcel Energy, Nextel Communications
and General Mills.

"Karyn
Ruth White recently spoke to our senior management team.
Her presentation was entitled Laughing In The Face of
Change. Our goal for her presentation was to bring a lighter
side to an otherwise seriously driven group of high-achievers.
The goal was accomplished and Karyn was a big hit with
the team! Comments included: "I cried, I was laughing
so hard," "I learned some great tools for dealing
with change and stress," "I think I'll be a
much better manager after this." I strongly recommend
Karyn. She has an exceptional gift of combining humor
and reality to entertain, motivate and inform. Time spent
with her is time well spent!"
